PEO-IAN is comprised of five divisions that align the products and services provided by DISA Information Assurance (IA) with its customers to make IA and Network Operations (NetOps) happen across the Department. The PEO establishes and monitors execution of an integrated IA program and approach for all of DISA in concert with DoD goals and objectives. The major functions and contributions include: establishing partnerships within DoD and outside the department to define and build-out defense and detection capabilities for the DISA-owned infrastruture, and enable the building out of the same for the rest of DoD by defining and sharing policies, standards, guidance documents, course-ware, and by procuring enterprise licenses for key tools.
